About Nora Place Morbeck...
My education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Communications, with graduate work in Communication Arts.
I've trained and worked professionally as both a labor and postpartum doula, and I'm a member of the Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association (CAPPA). View my profile here: http://www.icappa.net/members/?id=36487167
My interest in the horse-human connection set me on the path of Equine Guided Learning, and I completed an apprenticeship in that field in 2008. I offer "horse coaching" opportunities for individuals and groups. Additionally I provide one-on-one Life Coaching sessions -- just for humans! -- both in person and over the phone.
I'm also a trained Council facilitator. This communication model focuses on group work, holding space for intentional listening and personal growth and learning.
Over the past 25 years, I've organized and facilitated wilderness gatherings, support circles, women’s groups, poetry readings, workshops and educational programs.
I've had a chance to work in such diverse areas as public radio, teaching, and the performing arts. And I've volunteered in my community in Scouting programs and animal rescue efforts.
Mother Creek Haven represents a culmination of my interests and talents, allowing me to reach out to my community in a variety of meaningful ways.
I'm supported in my efforts by my awesome husband Rich and my equally awesome children, Sage and Gwen.
